Up at 5:00 to cheer on Canada in the Gold Medal game.
Shovel the sidewalks
Put gas in my daughters cars…
The lay lamanet flooring in the down stairs bathroom…
Not to shabby for a Sunday…
Peace my friend, travel well on your journey today…

Just have to post the link to Mountains in motion once again.
It is an amazing video and completely captures how incredible the mountains are and my fascination with them... and why It am so at peace when I am in the mountains...
I have no resolutions for the coming year. Instead, I merely have a promise to myself – to continue to live each day like I mean it, like I recognize that all I have is a succession of moments and that I want to spend those moments loving myself, nurturing myself, honoring myself in order that I can do work that nurtures and honors others.
Focusing on that means 2014 is already a huge success and I wish the same for all of you. All we have are moments. So live them as though not a one can be wasted, inhabit them, fill them with the light of your best good intention, honor them with your full presence, find the joy, the calm, the assuredness that allows the hours and the days to take care of themselves.
If we can do that, we will have lived and this New Year looming will be filled with blessings and light.
Peace friends, travel well on your journey today.... and through the year....
Now, you won't see no sad and teary eyes
When I get my wings and it's my time to fly
Call my friends and tell 'em
There's a party, come on by
Now just roll me up and smoke me when I die.
~ Willie Nelson
As some of you may have noticed, my posts to FaceBook and Twitter have been far fewer than in the past. The reason for this is simple. I don't always have a short quip that is really worth a post on either of those Social media Sites.
There is also the fact that the people that I have on my Facebook are not necessarly the same people I have on Twitter. This was not done by design, just the way it worked out. These seperate feeds, makes it a bit of a challange to manage them.
I have also had this blog for sometime now and have been spotty at keeping it current as well. My intention when starting RandOM THoUGhts, was to use the blog as a place to comment about things I think about, comment on current events and to be the story teller that I have always been.
A little self-indulgent? Maybe. But I believe that this avenue for communication will provide those interested a little more insight to what is bouncing around this brain of mine, tell some of the stories I have to tell and maybe open some communication lines.
Imagine this as a "digital Campfire. By definition, "Campfire" is when people get together and share stories and experiences. This is my goal for this blog.
If you are so inclined, please leave a comment. I am interested in what your thought are as well.
Lets sit around the Campfire together.
Peace my friends, travel well on your journey...
I always like to watch how wild life interacts in the forest, when they are just being themselves.
