I find it amazing that all the purveyors of Doom with the NDP wining the election are the same corporations that make BILLIONS in profit each year and would never notice a 2% increase in their bottom line. I think it is a smal price for the privelage of access to the resources this province has to offer.

On the eve of the provincial election here in Alberta and there is nothing more important right now that to get out and vote for the massive change that muct happen in this province.

For far too long we have been feed this crap that Alberta is the "land of milk and honey”. It is Not!! there are serious problems in this provice that have been ignored by the Consservative Governments for 44 years. We are LONG overdue for a change.

The province is tired. It is woren out from years of resource depletion and the people are woren out from being a cog in some big machine.

In a few short hours, we will find out the future of this province.

WE are not meant to be a slave to the system. Working some 9-5 day job we hate, to fuel a greed focused society that contributes to global destruction through unsustainable habits, to pay off a list of debts accumulated to sustain such lifestyle only to live in isolation, to use others to ‘get ahead’ …this is opposite of what the human spirit craves… and it must STOP!!!

economic farce.....

In my opinion with the reduction of interest rates, the most concerning thing is that the Conservatives have replaced the "economic engine" of Alberta by putting the burden of keeping the economy moving on the backs of individual Canadians, already a Trillion dollars deep in Consumer debt.

 

What better way to keep people enslaved and distracted. Distracted from the REAL issues of this country.

government sanctioned......

….With so many oil spills, pipeline failures, toxic spills into the water ways and Governments seemingly unwillingness or lack of interest in penalizing these companies with REAL penalties …… makes me wonder if this is Government sanctioned population control?

BC governments gutless approach to Caribou populations

So…lets be clear….the BC government’s approach to the issue of the Caribou’s dwindling population is to blame it on the Wolf. There is no backbone to focus on the REAL issue of the Caribou’s constantly decreasing habitat, caused by increasing pressures from Oil and Gas.

I ask: When will all governments "grow a set" and stand up to the big oil and gas companies and start doing what is right and protecting the habitats of all wildlife and not give it all up in the name of $$?

If they don’t…..very soon there will be nothing to “manage”… It is our responsibility to stand up to our governments and let them know that this approach to "Wildlife management" is not acceptable!!
